A tidy knowledge base
Every requirement, specification, and test result becomes a KB page. When the final project or hardware/software product is presented, the documentation is already there — not written the night before.
UI testing without writing scripts
Install the Oprex Test Recorder Chrome extension, click Record, walk through the scenario. A test case with machine steps (OTP) is written automatically and can be replayed by a runner or an AI agent.
AI quota per student
The AI allowance is counted per member, not one bucket for the whole class — a hundred students do not exhaust each other's share. The numbers come straight from the plan: see pricing.
Habits that carry over
Git, issues, review, releases, and changelogs — used from the first semester, so internships and first jobs feel familiar. Progress. Not Perfection.
The School Community plan
Verified schools and campuses get an expanded free plan: 25 projects, unlimited members, a daily AI allowance per student through the Kinexa Gateway, and a 30-day grace period when a plan changes — data is never silently lost. Details on the pricing page and under Security & data.
A sponsorship model for campuses and development centres
For campuses that want to use Oprex institutionally (hundreds to thousands of students) we offer a sponsorship model: a tiered monthly server cost that follows the number of active students, in return for student-only pricing slots and the institution's logo placed in Oprex. The cost is derived from real infrastructure numbers (servers, storage, AI gateway) and comes with a scenario for when sponsorship ends — no student loses their data.
Start within one lecture
- A lecturer or lab manager creates a workspace at member.oprex.id and requests school verification.
- Invite students with an invitation link — once accepted they land in the class workspace.
- One project per group; write the first requirement together.
- Install the extension, record one test scenario, replay it, look at the per-step screenshots.
- First release → changelog and KB appear. The rest is habit.
